Buying Fresh Seafood

Lazy people like me *LOVES* to hunt for convenience buying. You will NEVER expect me in a wet market at 6am to buy produce.

I was introduced to M25 online recently and they fly in Sabah seafood. I have purchased twice. Usually I buy Bawal Putih (cos less bones). I would love to have Salmon and COD but they are not from deep sea and hence, not available from Sabah.

M25 will provide cleaning of the fish. Hence when you want to cook, just defroze and its good to cook.

2 pieces of Bawal Putih (total weight 0.5 kg)
0.5kg headless prawns
Nga Toh Fish (about 0.5 kg)
I paid RM100 for this.

Worth it?

They are located in TTDI. Order via sms, email or call. Then you swing by to collect.

Fresh Figs

I was introduced to fresh figs by a friend. I fell in love with this fruit. This fruit has it own nutritional values and one should not miss this fruit. I got it wholesaler at 1.90 each where else supermarkets were selling them 8.99 each.

The skin also can be eaten.
The texture like slimy-ish

Ever you feel bloated, constipated or just feel you want to detox, try taking Wheatgrass juice. I always get mine from Juiceworks at rm3.50 . Just a shot (tiny cup)
DO NOT DRINK TOO MUCH as it will cause you to have diarehea. Everytime I am at the mall, I will go to this kiosk n take a shot before leaving for home. Once I reach home, I will have a smooth loo-time :p

Oil Cleansing Method for face...

Have you ever wondered, in ancient times where research was almost nil, technology none and only probably the rich had some luxury.. those labourers.. where did they get their health info from? Where do they look too? I am sure they did fall sick, I am sure they did know how to survive.. but where? Surely must be from somewhere..WHERE?

My believe is NATURE. They probably go back to what they have all along like herbs, trees, flowers, animals right?

So I came upon Joyce's blog recently on Oil Cleansing Method and this is absolutely natural :) and at the same time, another mom, Sherynn Ooi posted on her facebook. Talking about right timing.

So what is OCM? Click here

I decided to do this too and I ordered my stuff from Iherb.com. Do note, you dont need big bottles cos the usage is very little.

I got Castor Oil, Grapeseed Oil and Witch Hazel.
The Witch Hazel is not mentioned in OCM
but I found it in Iherb store and I personally know this product and wanted it ;-)

Free Gift.

My orders arrived safely exactly taking 14 days inclusive of weekend.

and I tried it on the same night and I felt the face a little tighter. I am still in the beginning stage and will be more diligent to do the routines every 3 days.

How to Test Honey

I m getting more and more into food these days huh..ehhehehe.

Someone from the fb page informed me how to test real honey or pure honey with no added sugar or syrup.

Scoop some honey and leave it out. Wait.  Wait for ants to come. If a lot of ants, means its NOT Pure honey. If no ants or if ant tried to come and drown itself..its GOOD honey.

Hence, I quickly tried out this 1kg honey bought from my trip at rm100. Thank God I got this honey for free. If  its not genuine, I will give this away. Serious. I am on a health journey and I dont want to laden my body will more artificial or sweet stuff.

Got from my recent Phuket trip

I spoon-ed out honey on a plastic and left it overnight.
I got very worried because I am afraid my whole kitchen to be infested by ants.

As soon as I got up, I quickly went to see. Phew. Thank God.
All alright.

So go try and let me know your findings :)

Miso Paste

Thanks to a group of ladies. I found out that I can use Miso paste for so many other dishes besides Miso soup.

I chanced upon an organic one, paste type (not powdered) in NHF inside Tesco Paradigm Mall.

So I bought a tub. I have been using it for my seasoning and hence hardly any drop of salt use in my dishes for almost 3-4 months? I have made porridge, cantonese gong fu chow, salad and stir fries.

I dont need to use a lot and found a way to store it.

I got "Spinn"-ed

Hahahahaha sorry folks for this title. Let me explained.

I posted on my fb page that my bag have some dark patches and asked where to go? A few replied and recommended SPINN. Spinn Launderette Services.

So I took the chance to visit the branch instead of the usual email/call because I wanted to be very sure if they knew their stuff and also allowed me to assess this co. I went to the one in USJ and they claimed to be the HQ. Whatever. Not important.

Showed them the bag and they said can be done. Left the bag there for almost 3-4 weeks. Got a call and said, it cannot be done.

Then they suggested to do "Color Restore". So I went over again to discuss. Technically "Restore" means remain the same color. But in their definition, its change of color and to any color I wanted. I them said to "restore" to this pair of shoes I have. I even gave 1 side of the shoes to them so that I can have a nice brand new bag.

In shop, discussion on the color. He said this is BLUE! I never pressured them to complete the work fast. I told them to follow my Chanels.

Anyway, here is the new restore bag.

I am sure a 3 year old can tell that its not near the color at all. I paid RM300 for this. I wanted to reject this. The lady said, if you LOOKED CLEARLY, its blue. But aiyo, my friends, will you look clearly into this bag if I take out for shopping?

Anyway...anyway

Hokkaido Ice Cream @ Paradigm Mall

I first chance upon this when the new Paradigm Mall opened.
Lately, I am more confident to know its related to Pasta Zanmai because some the dessert items are same with Pasta Zanmai, the uniforms the staff wear are the same and even the cutleries. However I may still be wrong.

Anyway I love this so much. Everytime I am in Paradigm, I will surely pamper myself with this.

Black Sesame Ice Cream. and claims, to be good for hair growth :0

His fav is Honey Melon Icecream

Have a try.

PS: One Scoop is RM4.80 Before tax.

Happy Kitchen

Yeah, very happy with my purchase. But after awhile, I did regret buying the expensive lap-sap-tong.

GreenPan.
I bought this because I dont know how to use stainless steel to fry.
Always stick. I cant use my Tefal on the induction cooker. *bummer*

Bought a cover for it too
This size can make a bowl of Magii Mee

Expensive Lap-Sap-Tong that is fly-less & smell-less.
I had to google to find out how to line the rubbish bag.

& 3 weeks later I found out Katrin BJ was having SALE!!!!!!!!! !@#$%
